Sublimation transfer paper is one of the important consumables for dye sublimation technology. The pattern is printed on the paper with a professional sublimation ink, and then heated, so that the dye is transferred to the surface of the substrate to realize the transfer of the pattern. Compared with the traditional printing process, the new printing process does not require high-cost template manufacturing. It only needs a computer connected to a professional digital printer, equipped with a suitable hot press mold, to complete the entire production process. Therefore, the production cost of this process is lower, and it is not limited to mass production. The custom process of the mug is no different from the normal dye sublimation transfer. Print your favorite pattern on the inverted sublimation paper. After drying, cover the surface of the paper pattern on the cup wall. After heat treatment, the pattern can be successfully transferred to the surface of the inverted mug. The specific operations are as follows:

1. Wrap the porcelain cup with the picture, put it in the baking coaster, adjust the ejector screw to make the pressure moderate, then close the pressure handle, plug in the power supply, and turn on the main power switch. Note: the pressure should not be too high, otherwise the pressure handle will be deformed! When covering the picture on the wall of the cup, you should first cut it out to the same size as the wall of the cup, cover it on the wall of the cup, and stick it with an adhesive tape. If the image itself is too small to cover the entire cup wall, another layer of paper should be covered on the outside to avoid direct contact between the cup wall and the grilled coaster, and prevent the surface of the porcelain cup from being burnt or indented.

2. The cup maker starts to heat up according to the preset temperature. When it reaches the set maximum temperature, it stops heating and the timer starts timing.

3. When the time reaches the set value, the buzzer will alarm.

4.Turn off the power, take out the baked porcelain cup, soak it in clean water several times (be sure to immerse it in cold water to prevent the ink from spreading), take it out, and wipe it dry. The specific parameters need to be adjusted based on experience and actual conditions.

It should be noted that a transparent resin will be sprayed on the surface of the mug made of sublimation transfer printing.

This process requires the use of a cup baking machine for hot pressing. The cup baking machine helps to ensure that the cup surface and the sublimation transfer paper are closely attached, and higher quality printed products have been obtained. At present, the cup baking machine can mainly be used to bake cylindrical, semi-circular, and conical mugs, but mugs with irregular shapes cannot be baked.

The mug made by the sublimation process has high-quality texture, uniform surface touch, no foreign body sensation, bright and uniform color, and is not easy to fade.
